SILENCERS
The silencers are of the absorption silencer type.
The damping ability of absorption silencers is affected by the
geometric design of the silencer and the type of damping
material chosen.
Silencer comprises a total of 17 such variants, with different
properties.

DAMPERS AND MEASURE UNITS
Dampers for different purposes are used in a ventilation system. Regulating dampers are used to balance the plant so that the wanted air flow is achieved. The manual dampers are adjusted when the installation is commissioned, and are cheaper than the automatic ones. On the other hand, manual dampers need many more hours of adjustment, and means of flow measurement. These are also referred to as constant flow dampers. Shut-off dampers are used to save energy, to prevent the spread of poisonous gas etc.

ROOF HOODS
Extract air – All SPIRO® system roof hoods are suitable for use as extract air hoods. Our range includes ribbed hoods, rectangular and circular roof hoods, models that are available with inclines adapted to the angle of the roof, as well as products with a horizontal profile, of course.
Outdoor air – Out of SPIRO® system range of roof hoods, HN and HF are not suitable as outdoor air hoods. The Spiro® range of outdoor air hoods includes the same design as for extract air hoods (see above).

OTHER CIRCULAR PRODUCTS
Air entry noozle, plenum or distribution chamber, duct filter, sealing clamp, cleaning cover, flat bar flange, suspension clamp.

ISOL
Intended for both indoor and outdoor use. The system is based on sheet steel inner and outer sheaths with rock wool insulation in between. The nominal size Ø100–500 always refers to the inner duct diameter, irrespective of the type in question. There are two types to choose from, type 25 and type 50.

TRANSFER
The duct system which is quick and easy to assemble and take apart Transfer is the circular duct system with tension clips for quick assembly and disassembly. The system is supplied as standard with clips in dimensions Ø80 to Ø500 and with FL flanges in dimensions Ø560 to Ø900.

RECTANCULAR
Some products might differ slightly from country to country. Please contact your local Spiro® store for correct information. Rectangular consists of rectangular ducts, fittings and silencers with dimensions in accordance with SS-EN 1505 when not otherwise specified. All fittings and ducts are made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet Z 275. If higher corrosion protection is needed, alu-zinc or stainless steel can be used.
